An absolute monarch is when the king or queen have complete control over their country. My name is King Jesse I and I am the king of Portugal. I think that it is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both (Machivelli) because if you dont love the monarch then you would want to attack and destroy them, but if your feared then they wont attack you. My monarch likes when citizens follow the rules and obey us. My monarch does not believe the divine right theory. My monarch will not take criticism well. For those who criticize my monarch will be tortured. My monarchs religion is catholic. What makes my monarch unique is that we treat evreyone very nicely but if you disobey us the consequences are bad. My monarch will respond to religious minorities in a postive way by treating them like everyone else. My role in Portugal is to make sure that everything is under control and to make sure that citizens are getting treated properly.
